KEF KC62: how it fits your system
The KEF KC62 is an attractive bass upgrade when floor space is limited. Its compact aluminium cabinet houses two 6.5-inch drivers in KEF's Uni-Core arrangement, powered by a combined 1000 W RMS amplifier system. The small footprint makes placement easier, while the connection and EQ controls help blend it with your speakers.
Why consider it?
- Uni-Core combines two opposing drivers in a compact force-cancelling arrangement.
- Line-level and speaker-level inputs support different amplifier setups.
- A high-pass-filtered line output and five placement settings help with system matching.

Plan the setup
Measure the space with room for connectors and unobstructed driver movement. Start with the appropriate placement EQ, then adjust crossover and level so bass joins the main speakers smoothly. If using the line-output high-pass filter, plan the signal path before connecting equipment.

Frequently asked questions
Why choose KC62 rather than a larger subwoofer?
Its main practical advantage is the small cabinet. Compare that footprint with the output your room and listening level require; the larger KC92 has a higher published maximum-output figure.
Can KC62 work with speakers from another brand?
Potentially, yes. The important checks are the available audio output, connection method, crossover and level matching. Give AudioGuru your amplifier and speaker models so the system can be checked.
How do I confirm price and delivery in India?
Contact AudioGuru with the exact model, finish, quantity and delivery PIN code. Confirm current availability, the GST-inclusive price or quotation, supplied accessories and applicable warranty before ordering.
Can I get advice in Pune before buying?
Yes. Our showroom is at Shop 9, Millenium Star, Dhole Patil Road, near Ruby Hall Clinic, Sangamvadi, Pune 411001. Contact us to discuss the equipment and confirm which products are available to view or demonstrate.
Our buying recommendation
KC62 suits listeners who value a discreet installation and careful integration. It earns a place on the shortlist when space matters as much as bass depth.
