Description
Anthem MRX 740 8K for a flexible home cinema system
Give your home cinema room to grow. The MRX 740 8K offers seven amplified channels, 11.2-channel processing and ARC Genesis, with an HDMI platform ready for modern film and gaming sources.
AudioGuru buying advice
Choose the speaker layout first, then allocate the internal and external amplifier channels. The first five channels have a different published power rating from the remaining channels; system matching matters more than one headline number.
Choose channels for the room you have
With seven internal amplifiers and 11.2-channel processing, the MRX 740 8K gives you room to plan beyond its built-in amplifier count. Work out the speaker positions and required external power stages together. A clearly defined layout makes the equipment list, cable runs and installation quotation easier to understand.
Compare the MRX 1140 8K if you need more internal amplifier channels. For a system built around separate amplification, consider the AVM 70 8K processor. Explore our home theatre receivers and the wider Anthem range before deciding. Tell AudioGuru’s Pune team about your room, speakers and delivery location so we can help plan a suitable system and quotation for your project in India.
