BenQ LK953ST: how it fits your system
The BenQ LK953ST is built for installations where a large 4K UHD image needs to come from a shorter distance. Its laser light source, short-throw optics and lens shift are useful for simulation, displays and carefully planned commercial AV spaces.
Why consider it?
- Short-throw optics help keep equipment closer to the projection surface.
- Vertical and horizontal lens shift offer practical installation adjustment.
- HDBaseT, control connections and HDMI output suit integrated AV projects.

Brightness, colour coverage, latency and light-source life are manufacturer ratings under specified conditions. Actual results depend on mode, screen, room light and source; light-source life is not a warranty period.
NEEDS CONFIRMATION: the supplied unit's weight and applicable installation load, because BenQ's current web table and shared manual disagree. Maximum horizontal and vertical lens shift should be checked in combination against the installation diagram.
Plan the setup
For simulation, check the enclosure, projection surface, player position and shadow path together. The projector is only one part of a simulator: tracking equipment, computer, software and screen must be specified separately. Confirm source resolution and frame-rate requirements before selecting the final system.
Package, availability and India warranty
Confirm the remote, power cord, filter, lens cover and installation documents. Mounting hardware, HDBaseT transmitter and any simulation equipment should be itemised separately.
NEEDS CONFIRMATION: current stock, supplied finish and quantity, included accessories and applicable India warranty. Ask AudioGuru to itemise these on the quotation. Screens, mounts, source devices, audio systems and installation are included only when expressly itemised.

Frequently asked questions
Is its imaging chip physically native 4K?
BenQ's shared manual specifies a 1920 × 1080 native device with 4K UHD on screen. This listing describes the 4K UHD output accurately rather than implying a physically native 3840 × 2160 chip.
Can it be installed without a site survey?
The optical range is useful for early planning, but a survey should confirm screen size, lens position, ambient light, ventilation, cabling and mount capacity. These are especially important for simulation and commercial installations.
How do I confirm price and delivery in India?
Contact AudioGuru with the exact model, finish, quantity and delivery PIN code. Confirm current availability, the GST-inclusive price or quotation, supplied accessories and applicable warranty before ordering.
Can I get advice in Pune before buying?
Yes. Our showroom is at Shop 9, Millenium Star, Dhole Patil Road, near Ruby Hall Clinic, Sangamvadi, Pune 411001. Contact us to discuss the equipment and confirm which products are available to view or demonstrate.
Our buying recommendation
Choose LK953ST when the installation specifically benefits from short-throw 4K projection. AudioGuru can discuss the room, mounting and system scope before preparing a quotation.
