Dymension DC-80 MAX SUR: where it fits in your system
The DC-80 MAX SUR is the surround-focused model in the MAX ceiling range. Its 8-inch BDSS woofer and two aimable tweeters support a discreet overhead surround installation, with treble adjustment available during setup. Choose its position as part of the cinema channel layout rather than treating every ceiling opening as interchangeable.
Why consider this model?
- A surround-focused design combines an 8-inch woofer with two tweeters.
- Adjust the treble balance during final system setup.
- Paint the grille to coordinate with the room's finish.

Plan the system and placement
Use these dimensions for planning. Before cutting, check the supplied template, actual speaker, cavity depth, fixing clearance and cable route. The installation guide may require more clearance than the nominal mounting depth. Follow the guide when aiming the woofer; press only the supported outer structure, not the cone. Start with neutral treble and calibrate with the room furnished. Use amplification suitable for the 6 Ω speaker load; any subwoofer and receiver calibration should be included in the complete system plan.
Package, availability and India warranty
The manufacturer lists the speaker and frame, paintable magnetic grille, cut-out guide and literature pack. Amplification, speaker cable and installation are planned separately; optional pre-construction brackets are not assumed included.
NEEDS CONFIRMATION: current India availability, exact package and applicable India warranty. Ask AudioGuru to itemise the speaker quantity, accessories and installation work on the quotation. Regional warranty terms shown on an overseas brand page do not establish the warranty for your purchase.

Frequently asked questions
Is the DC-80 MAX SUR a single-speaker stereo model?
The brand describes it as a ceiling surround speaker. The installation guide reserves the separate stereo-input arrangement for the DC-65 PRO SI. Plan this model as part of the receiver's surround-channel layout.
Can it be used in a humid or outdoor area?
The manufacturer rates this model IP55. Ask the installer to assess the intended location, exposure, mounting surface and cable protection; the rating is not a claim that the speaker can be submerged.
How do I confirm the India price and delivery?
Contact AudioGuru with the model, finish, required quantity and delivery PIN code. Ask for current availability, the GST-inclusive quotation where required, package contents and applicable India warranty. GST invoices are provided.
Can AudioGuru help with a setup in Pune or Maharashtra?
Yes. Share your room plan, equipment and location to discuss the scope. Our showroom is at Shop 9, Millenium Star, Dhole Patil Road, near Ruby Hall Clinic, Sangamvadi, Pune 411001. Projects elsewhere in India can also be discussed.
