Sub Air: a slim cabinet with flexible audio routing
Focal Sub Air uses a shallow cabinet and a supplied wireless audio transmitter to help position the bass channel discreetly. This individual subwoofer is listed at ₹105,000. Wireless audio simplifies the signal route; it does not remove the need for mains power.
A 21 cm woofer works with a BASH amplifier. The detailed power ratings are 110 W continuous and 150 W peak. Allow practical space around the 410 × 360 × 160 mm cabinet for connections and the installation method.
Check power, signal and mounting together
Confirm a compatible receiver or preamplifier output before choosing wireless or wired RCA/LFE operation. Test the listening position, phase and level before deciding the final location. Do not place the cabinet solely where it is least visible.

Power clarification: the amplifier headline is 150 W BASH; the manufacturer’s detailed table distinguishes 110 W continuous from 150 W peak. Do not treat peak output as continuous power.

Does wireless mean Sub Air needs no power cable?
No. Wireless refers to the audio link between the transmitter and subwoofer. The powered subwoofer still requires mains power, and the transmitter needs the connections specified in its manual. Plan both power access and the source connection.
Is its amplifier rated at 150 W continuously?
Focal’s detailed specification sheet gives 110 W continuous output and 150 W peak. The 150 W BASH description is not a continuous-power rating. Keep these figures separate when comparing subwoofers.
Can I use a wired connection instead?
Yes. Focal lists Left/Right and LFE inputs. Match the receiver or preamplifier output to the documented line-level input; do not connect amplified speaker terminals to RCA sockets.
Can I mount it on the wall?
Focal describes wall mounting as an option. Check the exact mounting instructions, wall structure, cable access and required fixings before installation. Agree mounting work and supplied hardware with AudioGuru instead of assuming a photograph includes installation.
Will the wireless connection work through every wall?
Do not assume that. Room layout, obstructions and nearby wireless equipment can affect the link. Test the intended receiver and subwoofer positions before fixing the installation permanently.
Does the 35 Hz figure describe its full response?
The 35 Hz figure is the separate −6 dB low-frequency point. Focal lists 40–200 Hz within ±3 dB. Integrate the subwoofer with the main speakers using suitable receiver settings, level and phase adjustments.
Is this listing a complete Dôme 5.1 package?
No. This listing is for one Sub Air subwoofer. Focal’s product sheet includes a wireless transmitter, but the receiver, satellite speakers and installation are separate unless included in your written order. Confirm the supplied contents when ordering.
How do I confirm finish and delivery in India?
