Give each LS50 its own position

If a cabinet puts both speakers too close together, a pair of S2 stands lets you choose the spacing around your listening seat. Mark each base footprint on the floor first. Check that nearby doors still open and that cables can reach both speakers comfortably.

Plan the cable route before assembly

With a passive LS50 Meta, plan a speaker cable from the amplifier to each stand. With LS50 Wireless II, also plan power at both speaker positions. Check connector clearance and leave slack so the cable can be disconnected without pulling the speaker forward.

Check the mounting fit as well as the height

KEF names the LS50 Meta and LS50 Wireless II as partners. For a different speaker, send its model and underside dimensions so AudioGuru can check the support and fixing points. A similar cabinet width alone does not establish a mounting fit.

KEF currently lists 657 mm height on its product page. Its December 2020 information sheet lists 652 mm with plinth. For a fitted recess, confirm the assembled height with the chosen feet before ordering.

Questions before choosing the S2

Does the price cover one stand or two?

The listing is for a pair of stands. The speakers shown with them are sold separately.

What footprint should I mark on the floor?

Allow 226 × 308 mm for each base. Add space behind the speaker for the plugs and cable bends.

Which height should I use for a fitted space?

Use 657 mm for initial planning and confirm the assembled height before specifying a tight clearance. KEF’s older sheet gives 652 mm with plinth.

How can I protect a wooden floor?

KEF specifies spike discs for wooden floors. Check the discs sit flat and the stands are level before placing the speakers.

Can I put filler inside the column?

KEF provides space for inert filler to increase stability. Follow the assembly guide and plan the cable route before filling.

Does a colour in the gallery mean I can order it today?

Choose the finish in the selector and confirm the delivery estimate for that finish and PIN code. A gallery photo illustrates the colour.

Does the stand power an LS50 Wireless II?

Each wireless speaker still needs its own power connection. The stand provides support and a route for cables.

What information helps with a Pune installation?
